The 3 biggest winners from night 1 of the NFL Draft are.....
A run on offensive players, 6 QBs in the first round, not a terrible amount of trades. Night 1 of the NFL Draft was electric.
As with everyone, we are already asking - who did the best?
Here are our Top 3 winners from Day 1 -
3) Arizona
Marvin Harrison Jr is a HUGE addition to their offense. This gives Kyler Murray an immediate Pro Bowl caliber receiver than can truly change the game. Murray has had a problem holding on to the ball to long, and when he does now, Harrison should be there breaking open. A game changing addition to the Cardinals offense.
2) Minnesota
JJ McCarthy will be their immediate Franchise QB. He is a winner, can move, can spin it and will give Jefferson and that offense a huge shot in the arm. There will be bumps - Michigan was a run-first team, but he has all the skills and talent to be a complete stud.
The Vikings traded back into the 1st round to grab OLB Dallas Turner from Alabama. Again, a stud. He will be a starter right away and immediately make a huge impact on this team. He can rush the passer and is a freak athlete.
The Vikings did very well to improve their squad right away.
1) Chicago
They got their Franchise QB in Caleb Williams and gave him another young weapon in WR Rome Odunze. A franchise altering round with the hope that Williams will stop the rotation of mediocre QBs and Odunze being a true 1 WR. If both of these picks turn out like they could and should, the Bears will be right in the mix in North starting this year. The Bears have been struggling to find that cornerstone they can build around and have that - finally, with Williams.
Honorable mention -
Commanders - finding their Franchise QB
Raiders - Bowers that low is a steal
Chiefs - of course they drafted the fastest guy in the draft

Could Jefferson be on the move from Minnesota?
The Vikings front office continue to tell the world they are in love with Justin Jefferson. They know he is their franchise WR and he is on his way to the Hall of Fame.
If that is the case, why aren't they paying him? Why haven't they gotten him the new contract?
He was hurt last year. Ok....if he had a fully guaranteed contract, would he have sat our so long? Who knows.
All signs point to the Vikings resigning Jefferson and giving him the money he wants and deserves. But, there is some thought to what might happen this coming weekend during the draft.
Could they use Jefferson as bait to jump up and get a franchise QB? They could.....
Could they see who they might draft to replace Jefferson in a very heavy WR draft? They could...
But why?
If you somehow jump up to get that rookie QB you need, who is he gonna throw to? Sure, Addison and others are great, but Jefferson is special. He is one you keep and tell the QB - there is your safety net.
The Vikings have really started to make the waters dirty here and if they truly want Jefferson around, this contract needs done today or tomorrow - before the Draft!
If you want to deal him, then fine...but don't be mad when the rookie QB struggles to get the ball to WR that can get open.

If Minnesota is in love with Maye, can they trade up to get him?
Rumors are all over the place this week as the NFL Draft is finally here on Thursday.
Over the weekend, it was shared that the Vikings are IN LOVE with QB Drake Maye from Carolina.
Appearing on "The Ross Tucker Football Postcat," NFL Network and former NFL QB Chase Daniel indicated the Vikings are "in love" with Maye.
Can they trade up to get him? Sure....do they want to? Maybe.
“I do know the Minnesota Vikings absolutely are in love with [Maye],” Daniel said. “I don’t know if they have enough ammo to get up to that third spot where the Patriots are picking, because I do think you’re probably going to have to get to that spot.”
The Vikings have picks 11 and 23 in the 1st round but you would you have to assume they need to get to 3, maybe even 2, to get Maye for sure.
The Commanders at 2 are not budging, and sound like they want Daniels. Patriots at 3 could be interesting. They need a lot, so 2 picks instead of 1 makes sense. But they also need a franchise QB.
These rumors will be loud all week but the fact that teams are not starting to sound attached to players makes this week a fun and crazy time ahead.
My guess - they will need to throw in WR Jefferson to make any sort of deal work....but that will mane the new team has to pay Jefferson.
A lot of moving parts...
